Engineering Academy

Program of Study

Our Vision
Yucaipa High School’s Engineering Academy is four-year instructional pathway that fosters students’ proficiency in foundational engineering principles by providing authentic classroom and workplace experiences in preparation for career and college.

Our Mission
Students successfully completing the Engineering Academy will be prepared to enter rigorous post-secondary engineering programs and/or gain entry-level employment in an engineering-related field by having strong mathematical modeling and technical writing skills and by having the ability to communicate effectively with others.

Cameron Massey, Jacob White, and Conner Ward presented to a group of over 100 community leaders and industry partners at an Alliance for Education event Friday.

Jacob White and Campbell Harris took first place in a design
competition on April 16. Students were given a design challenge
to design a pedestrian bridge for the sports complex being built
across from the high school. They met with Ray Casey, our City
Manager, on the job site at the beginning of the project and then
presented their designs to a panel of our industry partners.
